The PopnCandy Box

Most Japanese snack boxes are snacks. This one is built around the kits you make yourself. Every PopnCandy Box carries 12 to 15 items with at least two DIY candy kits — Popin’ Cookin’, Nerunerunerune and the rest of the chiiku-gashi range — plus Japanese snacks and candy chosen on that month’s theme. Packed and posted from our shop in Tokyo.

Why the kits matter. They are the part most people outside Japan have never tried. They also come in Japanese-only packaging, which is why an English guide goes in every box — we write them ourselves, and they are free to read too: English instructions for every kit.

Buy once or subscribe. A single box is $44.99, charged once. The prepaid plans work out cheaper per box. Shipping to the US is free on the box; US orders add a $4 import duty per box at checkout and go out duties-paid, so nothing is charged on delivery.
